Our manifesto
Building Clarity, One Project at a Time
Architecture begins with vision, but too often that vision gets buried under emails, uncertain budgets, and conversations that go nowhere. Small and mid-sized studios lose valuable hours chasing fit instead of creating it.
Homeowners, full of ideas and excitement, are left unsure where to begin or whom to trust.
At Hausguide, we believe the discovery process for building or renovating a home should feel as thoughtfully designed as the spaces it leads to. We exist to bring clarity, structure, and trust to the very first step of every project — where great collaborations between architects and homeowners begin.
Hausguide turns architect websites into smart assistants that qualify leads, save hours of repetitive work, and let architects focus on what they do best: designing and building.
For homeowners, we make it easier to find the right professional for their vision, so they feel well informed, confident, and ready to start.
- Transparency over guesswork
- Efficiency over repetition
- Simplicity over chaos
- Professionalism that earns trust from the first click
Hausguide isn't just software. It's a smarter way for architects and homeowners to connect — guided, transparent, and personalized. Because great projects don't start with uncertainty. They start with understanding.
Our Story: Why We Started Hausguide
From the homeowner's perspective
While building his own home, Johannes experienced firsthand how difficult and time-consuming it was to find the right architect. The discovery process felt scattered, unclear, and emotionally draining. As a product manager, he couldn’t help but think there had to be a better way. Building or renovating a home is one of the biggest investments people make, and it deserves the same clarity and care that great architecture provides.
From the architect's perspective
Tim, a long-time friend of an architect, had seen the struggle from the other side. Despite their talent, many architects wrestled with inconsistent leads, unpredictable revenue, and limited time to improve their client process. As a sales and marketing executive, he knew there were practical ways to solve this, but most studios lacked the time or technical expertise to make it happen.
When Johannes shared his frustrating experience, the two connected the dots. Together, they set out to create a simple, elegant solution that helps architects attract and qualify the right clients automatically and helps homeowners start their projects with clarity and confidence.
About the Founders
Dr. Johannes Drees
Co-Founder, Product & Technology
As a Product Manager, his work has always focused on one goal: turning complex, high-stakes decisions into simple, guided experiences that build trust from the very first interaction.
In regulated industries such as digital health and insurtech, he designed lead generation and onboarding journeys where clarity and ease were essential. At Dentolo, he helped grow the product from concept to a full platform, guiding users to their “Aha!” moment faster.
At Hausguide, he combines user psychology with AI-driven personalization to create intelligent discovery assistants that help architects qualify leads automatically, save hundreds of hours each year, and start every client relationship with confidence and clarity.
Tim Kremič
Co-Founder, Go-to-Market
Tim focuses on turning initial interest into measurable growth. His career in B2B SaaS sales has centered on one guiding question: how to design customer experiences that make buying the natural next step.
As a Product Manager and later Sales Director at Wire, he worked closely with clients to map their user journeys and turn insights into lasting customer relationships.
At Hausguide, he applies that same approach to help architecture studios turn website visitors into qualified, confident clients by making the first step of every project simple, structured, and valuable for both sides.
